Amazing under water experience & fabulous authentic lunch!
The guide and boat driver were great!! Took such good care of us, ensuring safety and an amazing under water experience! There were a couple of first timers and they couldn’t believe how comfortable they were since the guide was so respectful of their terpretation. So many beautiful species spotted and the water was clear. The only unfortunate part was the debris in the water, not a reflection of this organization but it is sad to see plastic in the oceans. The location for starting the excursion was fabulous! Wonderful views of the water and islands in the distance. Open air toilets and showers that provides privacy and yet surrounded by nature all around. Surprised to find running water in these spaces. The lunch afterwards was divine! Authentic Balinese/Indonesian dishes that were so delicious. Even though we were famished from our snorkelling there was so much food we couldn’t come close to finishing it all. What a great day!! Beautiful views and wonderful staff

Great snorkeling experience away from the crowds!
Our driver took my family and I to this out of the way location on Amuk Bay, just around from Padang Bai where we met Ketut and his lovely wife. We went a short distance into the bay in his boat and jumped off the side with our snorkeling gear and quickly saw lots of beautiful coral reefs and colourful fish. Ketut snorkeled with us and we felt very safe and unrushed. The hideaway was clean and had a nice toilet and shower for afterwards. We enjoyed the snorkeling here very much! Best to go earlier in the day for the best visibility.

Little piece of paradise in Amuk for snorkeling
My husband and I recently discovered Ketut’s Hideaway while looking for new snorkel spots near Candidasa….all I can say is, what a wonderful find !! Ketut welcomed us and allowed us to leave our gear in one of his lockers while we snorkeled off the beach to the reef in front of Ketut’s Hideaway, Really awesome crystal clear blue water with hundreds of different coloured tropical fish to see, just amazing.
After our snorkel Ketut allowed us to use the shower which had the most amazing views out over the snorkeling area with the biggest shower head I have ever seen. The gardens were very lush too, a real paradise overlooking the ocean and reef.
We can’t wait to get back there next year to spend a whole day with you and your family. All the best Ketut, you have a wonderful place.
